Illustrations

Robert McNamara’s illustrations appear extensively in his book, Tug Hill – A Four Season Guide to the Natural Side.

Below is a list, alphabetized by common name, of species of plants and animals currently available. Please contact Robert McNamara for a preview. Please inquire about other species not listed.

Color illustrations were created with acrylic paints, used as thin washes on watercolor paper, with some pen and ink work to enhance crispness.

Pen and Ink drawings were created using rolling ball pens on mylar.

Pencil drawings were created with soft pencil on sketching paper.

All illustrations are available as a digital file for one-time use only. All other reproduction rights are retained by The Art of Wilderness.
